Thomas Hundy
1861-1937

Chapter 15 - Thomas Hundy
Picture
'Thomas was the second Thomas Hundy of the family with his namesake, the first son born to William and Norah, having died in 1859 approximately four or five years prior. William had obviously been deeply affected by the death of his eldest son at just fifteen years of age; enough so that he subsequently named another son Thomas in honour of his dead son. Thomas became the third son born to William and his second wife Catherine Hayes when he was born somewhere around 1861. Subsequent records suggest a birth date between 1859 and 1863 with differing ages occurring on the public record.'
