Patrick Hundy
1855-1937

Chapter 12 - Patrick Hundy
Picture
'Patrick was described as ‘about 26 years of age, 5 feet 9 inches high, dark hair, small dark whiskers and moustache, weak eyes’ and was believed to be working on the roads somewhere between Eugowra and Forbes. Patrick’s last name was corrected in the April edition of the Gazette to Hundy and went on to state he had been arrested by Constable Howell of the Parkes Police and ‘lodged’ in gaol. There’s no record of the matter having proceeded to court, so it's likely the outstanding wages and costs were surrendered by Patrick and the charges dropped.
